I am very excited to be a part of the community mural project put together by the Bath Public Art Committee! They asked me to help with the design process by drawing seven 4×8 mural panels, which will be installed around the exterior of the bathroom facility at Wiswasser Park on Park Lake.

I will be coordinating with BPAC and the Bath community to paint these panels throughout the summer, and there are many ways that you can get involved. Please come back to this page throughout the summer to see progress pictures and to find out when you can participate!

Here’s an explanation of the project I’ll be working on, provided by BPAC!

“The Bath Public Art Committee is excited to work on our first public art project! We were thrilled with the turnout at our first painting event at Summer Solstice, but we still need your help!

We are painting a mural for Wiswasser Park that will highlight the park and Park Lake’s amenities. It will be created using a “paint by numbers” technique where the picture is pre-drawn onto panels with the individual shapes which will be painted in by community members like you!

This mural was made possible through funding from the Michigan Council for Arts & Cultural Affairs, the Arts Council of Greater Lansing, and generous donations from members of our community!”

So come out and paint with us at the dates below!
